El día de hoy está dedicado totalmente a uno de mis personajes favoritos del medio musical: Falco.

Johann Hölzel 'Falco'

Falco , pseudónimo artístico de un exitoso compositor, músico y vocalista de Austria, nacido el 19 de febrero de 1957. Su verdadero nombre es Johann Hölzel . Su seudónimo era un homenaje indirecto al esquiador alemán Falko Weisspflog.

En su haber constan canciones como la fantástica versión de "Der Kommissar" del álbum “Einzelhaft”; una de sus canciones más populares fue Rock me Amadeus (en inglés) (Éxito musical número uno en Estados Unidos, 1986).

Comenzó su carrera con el grupo " Spinning Wheel " y con el grupo vienés " Drahdiwaberl ", pero fue con el sencillo "Der Kommisar", extraído de su primer Lp solista Einzelhaft que llegó al éxito comercial a nivel europeo. En 1985, su tema "Rock Me Amadeus" permaneció durante semanas en el top five estadounidense.

El 6 de febrero de 1998 en la Ciudad de Puerto Plata, en la República Dominicana, falleció trágicamente a los 40 años cuando su auto chocó con un autobús.

Para 2007 se espera que Falco entre al Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll.

Verdaderamente, este hombre lleva toda una historia qué contar tras de sí. Esto fue tan sólo una probadita de lo que fue Hans Hölzel 'Falco', leyenda autriaca de la música pop en los años 80's y 90's.
¿Saben? Tal vez me anime y ponga toda su vida en la próxima actualización ^^.. Y de paso, le agrego también el video de 'Rock Me Amadeus' n.-

Bueno. Culminaré el espacio de hoy con un video del año 85 (año en el que Falco se lanzó de solista ^^), titulado 'Jeanny'.

der vermißten personen dramatisch angestiegen

die jüngste veröffentlichung der lokalen polizei-

behörde berichtet von einem weiteren tragischen fall.

es handelt sich um ein neunzehnjähriges mädchen,

das zuletzt vor vierzehn tagen gesehen wurde.

die polizei schließt die möglichkeit nicht aus, daß es

sich hier um ein verbrechen handelt.

Hoy veamos un poco de historia:

La Familia Tudor gobernó Inglaterra desde 1485 hasta 1603 . Su emblema era una rosa, la rosa Tudor, de ocho pétalos, cuatro blancos al centro y cuatro rojos en el borde exterior. De esta forma se simbolizaba la unión de la Casa de York con la Casa de Lancaster y el fin de la guerra civil que ensangrentó la historia inglesa durante el siglo XV .

Bueno, después de educarlos un poco, les dejo con un par de videos acerca de uno de los monarcas que reinó en el periodo Tudor, entre 1509 a 1547; me refiero al Rey Enrique VIII. Un líder cuyo nombre quedaría marcado para siempre en la historia de Inglaterra.

Celtic Woman es un grupo irlandés al estilo de Riverdance. Lo forman Hayley Westenra a la cabeza, la artista de música clásica más vendida (más de 2 millones de copias vendidas), y un coro de voces femeninas conocido como “The Riverdance of Voices ” .

No he logrado conseguir más información acerca de estas chicas europeas ((verdaderamente es casi imposible encontrar)), pero dejo aquí un video del grupo en uno de sus conciertos. Creánme que cuando lo vi, la piel se me puso de gallina con tan sólo escuchar tan hermosa melodía. Admito que me he enamorado de esta canción.

Espero lo disfruten tanto como yo lo hice ^^

Empezando..

WEll.. Inaugurando éste, mi nuevo espacio, empezaré poniéndo esta canción que en lo personal es una de mis favoritas del momento.
